Rome

Now, I don’t want to brag, but I have the greatest friend in the whole world. Back off people, she’s mine. Rome’s family has pretty much adopted me. I call her house home, know what kind of flowers to get her mum for Mother’s day, and we spend hours and hours talking on the phone. When my parents weren’t there for me, Rome’s were. We have had so many adventures – getting stuck on the Metro in Paris, sailing in Greece, testing my Italian skills on the Amalfi coast. There have been so many laughs – dressing up in my dad’s clothes, our try not to laugh challenge, when she “accidentally” spilled flour all over me. And there have also been cries – when her dad died, when my parents split up and moved out of England, when her first boyfriend broke up with her, when Eddy fell down the stairs and broke his arm. So now, 10 years later, we’ve been through it all. And by some miracle, we’re still best friends. Cheers! I looooooooooooove you.
