Breakfast


Breakfast! The most important meal of the day! Brainfood, fuel whatever you want to call it. If you're going to eat why not eat a healthy, nutritious, and delicious meal. The two of us both love breakfast and crafting new recipes in the kitchen. Here are some of our tried and true favorites. Bon appétit!

Avocado toast with tomato >> Slice an avocado in half and stab the pit with a sharp knife to get it out. Spoon the avocado onto multigrain bread and lightly mash. Top with salt, pepper, and thick slices of heirloom tomatoes.

Cade's staple smoothie >> Blend a bunch of kale, one-two figs, almond milk, an avocado {sounds slightly gross, but adds a lovely texture} and a frozen banana {it's key that the banana is frozen a night before, this adds a creamy, thick texture to the smoothie}. This is super healthy and also so tasty!

Something sweet >> Embrace the french way of life with half a grapefruit, a slice of baguette and a slather of strawberry jam. Enjoy while reading the local newspaper in your garden.

Yogurt >> Romey loves yogurt paired with chopped up pomegranate seeds, berries, and homemade granola {toast some oats with almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon and nutmeg for an added crunch}.
