Jours un et deux

Hello hello!

Romey arrived to San Francisco late Sunday and I have loved having her here so much. Eeek! We've done so many fun things. The few hours we had on Sunday were spent making a delicious dinner and then chatting and going to bed.

We started Monday by eating lunch at Eats, yum! It was pouring so we went to the Academy of Sciences and explored the rainforests and earthquake exhibits. Unfortunately, between the rain and the holiday everyone seemed to be there so we had to wait in super super long lines - but it was still fun! We had lunch at home and then made some awful vegan muffins. We worked out - I killed Rome, some advice: never work out with me and then headed to North Beach for dinner. I don't go to North Beach often, but it is amazing. It's really like being in a small version of Italy. We had dinner at Il Casaro with my friend Max and then gelaaaaaaato which was so so so good.

Today we had smoothie bowls for breakfast and then drove across the bay to Oakland. We hiked on the steepest trail ever, but it was so beautiful. We then went to this cute shopping alley and had lunch at a Mexican restaurant. The shopping alley had the best doughnut shop ever, Doughnut Dolly. Rome had lemon with cream and my mom and I split chocolate with cream. This was honestly the best part of the day, perfect for two sugar loving girls. Romey bought the cutest backpack ever at Baggu and then we got a cappucino at CRO cafe. So basically, all we have done is eat... and shop.
